Honoring the Silent Seafarers of Vietnam
In 2010, at the Conference to amend the STCW/78 Convention held in Manila, Philippines, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) designated June 25 each year as the “Day of the Seafarer.” This day recognizes the tremendous contributions of seafarers worldwide to the international maritime industry, the global economy, and civil society as a whole. They are a resilient and steadfast workforce, yet remarkably silent in their service.
In recent years, Vietnam’s maritime sector has celebrated the “Day of the Seafarer” with various notable activities to acknowledge and honor the contributions of Vietnamese seafarers in implementing the Vietnam Maritime Strategy. It is also an occasion to express gratitude to seafarers worldwide in general, and to Vietnamese seafarers in particular.
In response to annual welfare activities and in celebration of the 2025 “Day of the Seafarer,” HP Marine successfully organized the Conference Honoring Vietnamese Seafarers. The event was not only a gesture of appreciation and recognition for the seafarers but also an opportunity for sincere exchanges, contributing valuable solutions in the areas of recruitment, training, supply, management, and the development of welfare policies to support HP Marine’s seafaring team.

On this occasion, the Board of Directors and all staff of HP Marine would like to express their deepest gratitude for the dedication and contributions of the seafarers over the years.
We wish all seafarers currently working on board smooth operations, safe and fortunate voyages, and the successful completion of their missions.
We wish all seafarers on leave joyful and warm moments with their families and loved ones, and look forward to their continued journey with HP Marine toward a better life.
Sincerely!
